We are a youth-led organization dedicated to empowering young people to actively engage with and address the social, economic, and political issues that shape their lives. Rooted in the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we inspire and support youth-driven solutions to today’s most pressing challenges.

Our Approach

Education

We focus on experiential and transformative learning that goes beyond traditional education, offering skill-building opportunities, broadening perspectives, and providing eye- opening experiences to empower youth to actively contribute to societal rebuilding.

Research

Through innovative research methods, we aim to deconstruct existing knowledge frameworks and provide youth with a platform to voice their perspectives and expertise, fostering a deeper understanding of the complexities shaping our world.

Purposes and non-profit status of the association

The organisation, based in Osnabrück, pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the section ‘Tax-privileged purposes’ of the Tax Code. The organisation is non-profit; it does not primarily pursue its own economic objectives. The organisation’s funds may only be used for the purposes set out in the Articles of organisation. Members shall not receive any benefits from the organisation’s funds. Furthermore, no individual may be favoured by expenses that are not aligned with the organisation’s purpose or by disproportionately high remuneration.

The organisation’s objectives are the promotion of international cultural relations, tolerance in all areas of culture and international understanding, which is realised in particular through intercultural programs such as cultural exchange programmes, art and encounter festivals and interreligious dialogues that incorporate different cultural and religious perspectives and promote mutual understanding. In addition to these initiatives, educational and awareness-raising projects are implemented to foster social cohesion, including workshops on intercultural communication, anti-discrimination campaigns, and seminars on conflict resolution. Furthermore, programmes are offered that engage young people, individuals with and without a migration background, and people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds in intercultural dialogue, promoting their active involvement in the community.

The organisation’s objectives is to promote education, including civic and vocational training, as well as student support. The organisation’s statutes are realised through workshops on key skills such as communication, critical thinking, and teamwork and through mentoring programmes that connect students and young people with experienced professionals. In addition, educational initiatives are offered to develop professionally relevant skills, such as application training, career planning and digital competence, to strengthen personal development and promote active participation in social and professional processes.

The organisation’s mission is to encourage scientific research and studies on topics of social importance, especially in the areas of social justice, integration, and intercultural understanding. This objective is pursued by initiating and executing research projects involving empirical studies on social inequality, integration processes, and intercultural communication. In addition, the organisation disseminates scientific findings that reveal possible solutions for social challenges through the publication of research reports and the organisation of regular specialist events such as symposia and panel discussions. These events are intended to promote the exchange and dissemination of these research findings in public and specialist circles.

Zweck, Gemeinnützigkeit des Vereins

Der Verein mit Sitz in Osnabrück verfolgt ausschließlich und unmittelbar Abgabenordnung. Der Verein ist selbstlos tätig; er verfolgt nicht in erster Linie eigenwirtschaftliche Zwecke. Mittel des Vereins dürfen nur für die satzungsmäßigen Zwecke verwendet werden. Die Mitglieder erhalten keine Zuwendungen aus den Mitteln des Vereins. Es darf keine Person durch Ausgaben, die dem Zweck des Vereins fremd sind, oder durch unverhältnismäßig hohe Vergütungen begünstigt werden.

Der Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung internationaler Gesinnung, der Toleranz auf allen Gebieten der Kultur und des Völkerverständigungsgedankens. Der Satzungszweck wird verwirklicht insbesondere durch interkulturelle Veranstaltungen wie Kulturaustauschprogramme, Kunst- und Begegnungsfestivals sowie interreligiöse Dialoge, die unterschiedliche kulturelle und religiöse Perspektiven einbeziehen und das gegenseitige Verständnis fördern. Darüber hinaus werden Bildungs- und Aufklärungsprojekte zur Förderung des sozialen Zusammenhalts durchgeführt, darunter Workshops zur interkulturellen Kommunikation, Antidiskriminierungskampagnen und Seminare zur Konfliktbewältigung. Ergänzend werden Programme angeboten, die Jugendliche und Menschen mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund in den interkulturellen Dialog einbeziehen und ihre aktive T eilhabe am Gemeinwesen fördern.

Der Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung der Erziehung, Volks- und Berufsbildung einschließlich der Studentenhilfe. Der Satzungszweck wird verwirklicht insbesondere durch die Durchführung von Workshops zu Schlüsselkompetenzen wie Kommunikation, kritisches Denken und T eamarbeit sowie durch Mentorenprogramme, die Studierende und junge Menschen mit erfahrenen Berufstätigen vernetzen. Darüber hinaus werden Bildungsinitiativen zur Entwicklung berufsrelevanter Kompetenzen wie Bewerbungstraining, Karriereplanung und digitale Kompetenz angeboten, um die Persönlichkeitsentwicklung zu stärken und die aktive T eilhabe an gesellschaftlichen und beruflichen Prozessen zu fördern.

Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung von Wissenschaft und Forschung zu gesellschaftlich relevanten Themen, insbesondere in den Bereichen soziale Gerechtigkeit, Integration und interkulturelle Verständigung. Der Satzungszweck wird verwirklicht insbesondere durch die Planung und Durchführung von Forschungsprojekten, die empirische Untersuchungen zu sozialer Ungleichheit, Integrationsprozessen und interkultureller Kommunikation umfassen. Darüber hinaus werden wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse, die Lösungsansätze für gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen aufzeigen, publiziert und regelmäßige Fachveranstaltungen wie Symposien und Podiumsdiskussionen durchgeführt, um den Austausch und die Verbreitung dieser Forschungsergebnisse in der Öffentlichkeit und in Fachkreisen zu fördern.
