🌍 16 Days of Activism: Towards Beijing +30 – Unite to End Violence Against Women and Girls 🌍

From November 25th to December 10th, we join the global movement to end violence against women and girls, reaffirming the commitments made nearly 30 years ago in the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. At BreachBuilders BB, we believe young people are central to achieving this vision and accelerating progress towards a future free of gender-based violence.

✨ What can youth do to drive change?

🔸 Carry the Beijing Vision Forward: Advocate for gender equality and hold leaders accountable to the promises made.
🔸 Raise Awareness: Use your platforms—online and offline—to amplify stories, share resources, and challenge harmful norms.
🔸 Take Local Action: Organize youth-driven dialogues, safe spaces, and community projects to address violence and promote gender justice.
🔸 Be Inclusive: Stand for all women and girls, recognizing the diverse experiences of those from marginalized and underrepresented communities.

As we move Towards Beijing +30, let’s unite across generations to challenge violence, inspire action, and make equality a reality for women and girls everywhere🧡.

Legal frameworks addressing violence against women are important to ensure gender justice is realized. While some countries have enacted robust legislation, many still fall short of providing adequate protections.
